MAKA Power completed the electrical retrofit of a historic mixed-use building, transforming the property into a modern residential development while preserving its heritage character. Working within the constraints of an existing structure required careful planning, coordination, and innovative electrical design solutions. The project included new power distribution, switchgear, fire alarm, elevators, data infrastructure, lighting, emergency lighting, and a new Manitoba Hydro service. Every system was integrated to meet modern building standards while respecting the limitations of the existing architecture.
